Are you an academic with proven abilities to carry out research-led teaching in Lusophone culture and history, and to teach Portuguese language? Do you have the ability to inspire and motivate students? Are you passionate about leading and delivering quality teaching in the School of Languages, Cultures and Societies at Leeds?
As a Teaching Fellow you will have the ability to deliver research-led teaching and expertise in Portuguese studies. We are looking in particular for the ability to teach Lusophone culture and history and depending on your expertise, you may also contribute to other modules within Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American Studies and the wider School.
You will have a completed, or be within 3 months of completing, a PhD in Lusophone Studies or a related discipline, a high level of competency in Portuguese, and an excellent command and extensive knowledge of the English language and have experience of contributing to the effective delivery of relevant and appropriate teaching at undergraduate level.
