The organizers of seminar cycle "Memory, Culture and Citizenship in Post-Colonial Nations" are pleased to invite you to the launch of the book The Legacies of the Portuguese Colonial Empire (Bloomsbury) that will take place on 29 November, between 5:30 and 7:30 PM, in presence of some of the authors and of the editors, Elsa Peralta and Nuno Domingos.
It will take place at FLUL's library.
On the next day, there will also be a seminar of the Project "Constellations of Memory: a multidirectional study of postcolonial migration and remembering". The French anthropologist Benoît de L'Estoile, director of the Research and Education Department of Musée du Quai Branly - Jacques Chirac, will present a communication entitled "Legados coloniais: uma abordagem comparatista".
