Este evento examina a criatividade cultural portuguesa como um local fértil onde as consequências da Revolução de 25 de abril são ativamente celebradas, problematizadas, questionadas e expandidas. Reunindo académicos e profissionais de várias disciplinas (estudos fílmicos, teoria literária, história da arte, geografia), o seminário analisa de perto os debates recentes no campo cultural português, procurando reexaminar o impacto da democratização e da descolonização dentro e fora de Portugal.

This event examines Portuguese cultural creativity as a fertile site where the consequences of the 25^th of April Revolution are actively celebrated, problematised, questioned and expanded. Bringing together scholars and practitioners from multiple disciplines (film studies, literary theory, art history, geography), the seminar undertakes a close examination of recent debates within the Portuguese cultural field seeking to reexamine the impact of democratisation and decolonisation within and beyond Portugal.
