CHAMADAS PARA TRABALHOS

As línguas e as culturas indígenas: representações literárias e Realidade linguística e análises semânticas das línguas naturais

Informamos que estão abertas, até dia 30 de abril de 2020 (nova data de submissão), as inscrições para submissão de artigos que serão avaliados para publicação no número 2 do volume 22 da Revista Diadorim, do Programa de Letras Vernáculas da UFRJ. Desse número do periódico, constarão dois dossiês: um de literatura e outro de língua.

O dossiê temático de literatura versará sobre As línguas e as culturas indígenas: representações literárias e realidade linguística. As culturas indígenas foram largamente marginalizadas e estigmatizadas ao longo da história, além de terem sido instrumentalizadas na construção de imaginários nacionais, pelo que sua dignificação passa por colocar em evidência o imaginário criado pela literatura e pela história, assim como por reivindicá-las como objeto de estudos não só descritivos como também das disciplinas mais sociais da Linguística. Será organizado por  Pere Comellas Casanova (Universitat de Barcelona).

O dossiê temático de língua versará sobre Análises Semânticas das Línguas Naturais sob as perspectivas teóricas da Semântica Cognitiva e da Semântica Formal. Temas como tipologia semântica, variação semântica, mudança semântica, a semântica e suas interfaces e a semântica de línguas em contato, dentre outras possibilidades, serão bem-vindos. Este dossiê será organizado por Maria Lúcia Leitão de Almeida (Professora do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Letras Vernáculas - UFRJ), Ana Paula Quadros Gomes (Professora do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Letras Vernáculas - UFRJ) e Jorge Luiz Ferreira Lisboa Júnior (Doutorando do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Letras Vernáculas – UFRJ). Os artigos podem estar redigidos em português, inglês, francês e espanhol.

CALLS FOR PAPERS

We inform you that it is possible to submit, until April 30^th 2020 (new deadline), scientific articles to our journal´s review process in order to be published in number 02, volume 22, of Diadorim: Revista de estudos linguísticos e literários, on behalf of the members of its Editorial Team at the Vernacular Letters Program at Faculty of Letters´ MA and PhD Programs in Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (http://www.letras.ufrj.br/posverna/).

Diadorim: Revista de estudos linguísticos e literários has published studies developed by Brazilian and/or foreign researchers within the scope of three main areas of UFRJ´s Vernacular Letters Program – Portuguese Language, Brazilian Literature and Portuguese and African Literatures. This issue of the journal will contain two dossiers: a literature dossier and a language dossier.

The thematic dossier of literature will deal with indigenous languages and cultures: literary representations and linguistic reality. Indigenous cultures have been largely marginalized and stigmatized throughout history, in addition to having been instrumentalized in the construction of national imaginaries, for which their dignification involves highlighting the imaginary created by literature and history, as well as claiming them as the object of studies not only descriptive but also of the more social disciplines of Linguistics. It will be organized by Pere Comellas Casanova (Universitat de Barcelona).

The language thematic dossier will deal with Semantic Analysis of Natural Languages. The two orientations in the studies of meaning share several points in their theoretical agendas: the interest in the interdisciplinary relationship between semantics and cognitive sciences; the support of introspective, experimental and corporate methodologies; the debate on the problem of semantic-pragmatic division; semantic typology; semantic variation; semantic change; etc. In all aspects, both models deal with the description and analysis of linguistic meaning and provide solid results, improving scientific knowledge of the meaning of natural languages. It will be organized by Ana Paula Quadros Gomes (Professor of the Graduate Program in Vernacular Letters - UFRJ), Jorge Luiz Ferreira Lisboa Júnior (PhD student of the Graduate Program in Vernacular Letters - UFRJ) and Maria Lúcia Leitão de Almeida (Professor of the Graduate Program in Vernacular Letters - UFRJ).

Articles that are unpublished and organized according to the journal's editorial rules will be accepted for publication. The guidelines for authors and the conditions for submission can be found on the site. Articles may be written in Portuguese, English, French and Spanish.

It will submit to the review process and then to publication process originals that have not been previously published and that are in accordance with the guidelines of the journal site (https://revistas.ufrj.br/index.php/diadorim/about/submissions).
