Fixed Term-from 1 September 2021 to 31 August 2022 in the first instance

The post holder will contribute to teaching at undergraduate level and will prepare and deliver classes and seminars in Portuguese language covering both Brazilian and European Portuguese, as well as the diverse cultures of the Lusophone world. 

This is a part time role, with the total hours of work required equating to 0.31 full time equivalent per year (11.3 hours per week).  This post is from 1 September 2021 to 31 August 2022 in the first instance. The successful candidate will be expected to take up the position on 1 September 2021, or as soon as possible thereafter.

The successful candidate will have postgraduate qualification (Master’s degree) within the area of Portuguese Language Teaching and/or Portuguese Linguistics, as well as expert knowledge in the areas of language-teaching methodologies at university level.
