A Escola de Ciências Sociais / Centro de Pesquisa e Documentação de História Contemporânea do Brasil da Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV CPDOC) informa a abertura de processo seletivo para bolsistas em Ciências Sociais Computacionais, para atuar no Programa de Pós-Graduação em História, Política e Patrimônio Cultural da FGV, no âmbito do Programa de Internacionalização Institucional - CAPES-PrInt.

Os candidatos deverão possuir um doutoramento em uma das Ciências Sociais ou em áreas afins.

A primeira data de encerramento da inscrição é 17 de maio de 2019.

Program for Institutional Internationalization – CAPES-PrInt

This call for applications is for scholars who are willing and able to spend time as visiting scholars in Computational Social Sciences  at FGV’s Graduate Program in History, Politics and Cultural Heritage. These positions are sponsored by CAPES (Brazilian Federal Agency for Coordination of Improvement of Higher Education Personnel) within its PrInt Program.

FGV is the 6th top-ranking think tank in the world, according to the 2018 Global Go To Think Tanks Index released by the University of Pennsylvania. The Graduate Program in History, Politics and Cultural Heritage is offered by FGV’s School of Social Sciences (CPDOC), a leading department in Brazil. CPDOC is ranked third in the Brazilian General Course Index (IGC 2017) published by the Brazilian Department of Education. The index is the result of the evaluation of public and private institutions in the fields of exact sciences, humanities, and biological sciences.

Scholars will contribute to the training of a new generation of social scientists, and increase the diversity of our department. Suitable candidates will have a PhD in one of the Social Sciences or related fields. Fellows will spend their stint with us at our headquarters in Rio de Janeiro.

The first closing date for the application is May 17th, 2019.
