O Departamento de História do University College London (UCL) recruta um/a docente em "História da Ibéria e do Mundo Ibérico, c.1450-c.1800", com início previsto para setembro de 2018.
 
O departamento procura um/a historiador/a que trabalhe na história da Ibéria e do mundo ibérico no início do período moderno, a fim de complementar as áreas existentes no departamento.
 
Os/as candidatos/as devem possuir um doutorado em uma área relevante, um excelente registo de publicação de pesquisa, um projeto imaginativo de pesquisa de pós-doutoramento, e experiência de ensino em um departamento de História universitário, preferencialmente nos níveis de graduação e pós-graduação.

The appointment will be on UCL Grade . The salary range will be Grade 7 (£38,581 - £41,864 per annum) / Grade 8 (£43,023 - £50,753 per annum), inclusive of London Allowance.
 
Applications are invited for a full-time lecturership in the 'History of Iberia and the Iberian World, c.1450-c.1800' tenable from 1st September 2018.
 
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding historian working on the history of Iberia and the Iberian world in the early modern period, in order to enhance and complement existing areas of strength within the department (including the history of Britain, Europe and the Atlantic world in the early modern era; history of modern Latin America, and of early modern and modern South and East Asia). We are seeking a scholar doing high quality research, able in due course to attract doctoral students and to teach successfully at undergraduate and taught postgraduate levels. 
 
The successful candidate will be expected to research and publish material of the highest quality; to offer inspiring teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels; and to play a full part in the life of the History Department.
 
Applicants must have a doctorate in the relevant area; at least one outstanding research publication; an imaginative post-doctoral research project; and experience of teaching in a university History department, preferably at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
