A Universidade da Flórida seleciona um professor assistente (tenure-track) em História Ibérica Moderna e História Colonial da América Latina, com início a partir de 16 de agosto de 2018. Os candidatos deverão possuir um doutoramento em História até a data de início. A revisão inicial dos pedidos começará no dia 1 de novembro de 2017.

Espera-se que o candidato escolhido 1) mantenha uma agenda de pesquisa ativa; 2) solicite e obtenha financiamento de pesquisa externa; 3) ensine quatro cursos por ano académico no nível de graduação e pós-graduação em História Ibérica Moderna e História da América Latina, bem como em outras áreas de especialização de interesse para o departamento; e 4) prestar serviços ao departamento e à universidade.

Assistant Professor in Early Modern Iberian and Colonial Latin American History

The University of Florida invites applications for a tenure-track appointment in early modern Iberian and colonial Latin American history at the rank of assistant professor, effective August 16, 2018. Applicants are expected to hold a Ph.D. in history by the starting date. 
The successful candidate will be expected to 1) maintain an active research agenda, 2) apply for and obtain external research funding, 3) teach four courses per academic year at the undergraduate and graduate level in Early Modern Iberian History, Colonial Latin American History, and other areas of expertise of interest to the department, and 4) provide service to the department, the university, and the profession.
