Harvard seleciona um professor de Literatura e Cultura Brasileiras

O Departamento de Línguas e Literaturas Românicas da Universidade de Harvard seleciona um professor assistente especializado em Literatura e Cultura Brasileiras. O candidato selecionado será responsável por ministrar classes para alunos da graduação e pós-graduação além de dedicar 25% de seu horário de trabalho à investigação. As inscrições devem ser feitas até 15 de maio de 2017.

A nomeação é por um ano, com a possibilidade de renovação por um segundo ano, dependendo do desempenho, disponibilidade de posição e necessidade curricular. O candidato deve começar a partir de julho de 2017. Os requisitos mínimos são:

  • Doutorado ou Graduação em Português, Literatura Comparada, ou disciplina relacionada defendido a partir de 2013.
  • Forte aptidão para o ensino

COLLEGE FELLOW IN BRAZILIAN LITERATURE AND CULTURE

Position Description: The Department of Romance Languages and Literatures seeks applications for a College Fellow in Brazilian literature and culture. The appointment is expected to begin on July 1st 2017. The College Fellow will have teaching responsibilities, with 25 percent of the appointment reserved for the Fellow’s own research. Teaching duties will include teaching 3 courses at the undergraduate level, although one or two of them will be open to beginning graduate students. The appointment is for one year, with the possibility of renewal for a second year, contingent on performance, position availability, curricular need, and divisional dean authorization.

Basic Qualifications: Doctorate or terminal degree in Portuguese, Comparative Literature, or related discipline required by the expected start date and must have been received no earlier than 2013. Strong commitment to teaching is desirable.Special Instructions: Detailed requirements, position information, and a link to the online application are available at Harvard site . Complete applications, including letters of reference, must be submitted no later than May 15. For letters of reference, please provide in the online application the names and contact information of 3-5 referees, who will be asked by a system-generated email to upload a letter of recommendation once the candidate’s application has been submitted. Three letters of recommendation are required, and the application is considered complete only when at
least three letters have been received.
