O CETAPS (Centre for English, Translation, and Anglo-Portuguese Studies) / TEALS (Translation, Teacher Education and Applied Language Studies) convida para a submissão de porpostas para a nona edição do Seminário de Investigação Avançada, iniciado em 2019 com o objetivo de proporcionar espaços de interação entre investigadores consagrados e em início de carreira e abordar áreas de investigação associadas às línguas na educação.

Este 9º Seminário de Investigação Avançada acolhe resumos da comunidade do CETAPS para contribuir para um dia de apresentações e discussões centradas na atividade de investigação dos membros do CETAPS. O Seminário de Investigação Avançada está aberto a todos os membros do CETAPS TEALS e a estudantes de doutoramento.

Keynotes:
Dr Margarida Morgado (Politécnico de Castelo Branco) - “Bringing together student teachers and in-service teachers through Virtual Exchange: The VALIANT innovative approach to teacher education”
Dr Catarina Castro (Politécnico de Leiria) -“O ensino baseado em projetos na aprendizagem de Português como língua estrangeira por alunos chineses no ensino superior”.  
We welcome presentations on the conference theme, or a formal presentation of any stage of your research - a literature review, methodological choices, emerging results, or the presentation of a particular project you are involved in.
 
Deadline for abstracts: 31 May 2024
Abstracts (max. 300 words) should include a title (max. 10 words) and brief theoretical background – depending on the focus of your presentation, include research questions/aims, research methods and (projected) findings. Please include (max. 5) references using APA 7th edn.
Please include a biodata of approx. 80 words – if you are a PhD student indicate your supervisor(s). 
Guidelines for presenting PhD project proposals are annexed to this email.
